2016 Family Photos

I intended to post these pics right after the Christmas card reveal, but I'm just now getting around to it...10 days later!

Our family photo session was originally scheduled for late October, but Baby Boy got sick and we had to reschedule. Our rescheduled session ended up being the Sunday before Thanksgiving in downtown McKinney. Let me just tell you...that area is a popular place for professional photo sessions! We counted at least eight other photographers, which was really surprising given how late it was in the season. Despite the chaos of trying to find settings not in use by other photographers, Jaime {Storyline Photography} was able to capture fabulous images to document our little family at this point in time.

One Year Photos

Since I finally posted the pics from H's first birthday party, I might as well continue the theme and share his one-year-old milestone photos. The photographer who took his 3-, 6-, and 9-month milestone photos is in Kansas. Given our busy end-of-summer/early fall schedule, we knew we weren't going to make it back to Kansas around the time of Huston's first birthday...so we  took a leap and found a local DFW-area photographer. We had so much fun working with Jaime {Storyline Photography}, and we were so pleased with her photos!

Nine Month Photos

Yesterday I posted H's 11-month update, but today we're going to rewind a bit because I HAVE to share his 9-month photos. I knew we had plans to travel back to Kansas for Memorial Weekend, so I scheduled a photo session with Lacey {LuLu's Pictures} to capture a few three-quarters-of-a-year milestone images.  

I hope you can look past the blog watermark on the photos, but I just know you can never be too careful with images of your little one floating around on the world wide web.

A few of my favorites...

Although our little guy is too little to understand now, these photos with his Great-Granddad Huston {his namesake} will someday mean the world to him...

Huston's cousins, Nais and Mills, were in town for the weekend too...so we were lucky enough to get a pic of the cousins together. Although we live in different states, it is my hope that these boys will be best friends as they grow up {probably giving us more gray hair than we'd like!}.

Six Month Photos

Milestone photos are always a bit behind in getting posted because of the time it takes to get the final images back from the photographer.  As such, H is now 7.5 months old and I'm just getting around to posting his six-month photos. #BetterLateThanNever

We made a trip home to Kansas at the beginning of March so Lacey {LuLu's Pictures} could capture some keepsake images of our 0.5-year-old babe.  Here are a few of my favorites...
